Abstract
The traffic control system of Hanshin Expressway operates from 1969 to always keep enable smooth traffic flow. The new traffic control system (HI-TEX) was built in April 2021 because past system became obsolete. This paper reports function, purpose and design philosophy of HI-TEX, it is not only advancement of traffic management operations, and it is systems architecture easy for a person using the system.
