In March of 2000, a document titled "Practical reformation on medical and dental education of 21st century: reconstruction of undergraduate education" was published by the nation-wide committee organized by Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Japan. In the new concept of higher education, general instructive objective(GIO) and specific behavioral objectives(SBOs) were essential in planning an individual specific subject. The new educational methodology integrated with well planned problem-based learning(PBL) is also emphasized as an effective candidate in place of the traditional linear education. Representing our affirmative support to the report and aiming at the introduction of PBL-style class, we have prepared a set of educational materials, which were employed as a trial usage and questionnaired to the volunteers for our retrospective analysis. In addition to several improvements on the methodology, we have revealed a tough issue on the dilemma concerning the prospective easiness of reproduction of content in the material through Internet which is not highlighted in the linear education.
