Abstract
The objective of this research is to understand thinking structure about Information & Communication Technology(ICT)among students in information education by focusing on Computer−Self−Efficacy(CSE). A questionnaire survey was conducted, where the questionnaire was created in a former study for adult learners. The item analysis of the result revealed 31 items and a following factor analysis was conducted for the items. As a result, four factors, “Rudimentary CSE”, “Progressive CSE”, “ICT uneasiness”, and “ICT attitude”, have been extracted. The thinking structure among students was modeled, where “CSE” decrease “ICT uneasiness” and promotes “Positive attitudes toward ICT.”
