Abstract
If all books were electrified we could buy any book, anytime anywhere, for a much lower price. In ten years, we will be able to find the books we need from among one million items. An experiment of satellite distribution of electronic books has been carried out and the electronic book projects have started all over the world almost simultaneously. We would like to inspect and discuss the potentiality of the electronic book business from the points of the capacity of high quality liquid crystal, the possibilities of networks, the reuse of publication property and the appearance of new authors of books.
