Abstract
Controversies over the textual variants in early modern English playtexts never reach any consensus: the texts are the mass of uncertainties. Under such circumstance, however, a number of electric texts have been produced with a lot of textual problems left open. The present writer poses a question concerning the 'authenticity' on such e-texts and on so-called 'stylometrical' analyses using them.
