Abstract
Statistical model was presented to determine the ratio of feeding ends caused directly by dropping ends. Using this model an equation was derived which gave the relationship between its ratio and the properties of cocoons. The results showed that the ratio was determined only by both distributions of the size of first and last portion of cocoon filaments when good cocoons were reeled.
