1H MAS NMR 法による重水中のエポキシ硬化反応解析

We investigated the curing reaction between epoxy and amino groups for water soluble polyglycerol polyglycidyl ether (PGPE) and poly ε-L lysine (ε-PL). The curing reaction was detected by 1H MAS NMR in deuterium oxide solution. The 1H signal intensity of epoxy group changed with time elapsed. The change of the normalized intensity with reaction time was least-square fitted by assuming a simple bimolecular reaction. The obtained reaction rates were 0.026 min−1 at 50°C and 0.113 min−1 at 80°C. The estimated activation energy, approximately 46 kJ mol−1, showed a satisfactory agreement with the previously obtained value.
