Trends and Issues on the Study of “IBASYO” for Elderly People

The purpose of this research is to investigate prior research on the “IBASYO” of elderly people and to obtain basic materials necessary for consideration of support for elderly people to have “IBASYO”. ①9 documents selected carefully by“IBASYO” / elderly as a keyword were analyzed. As a result, only a small number of case studies subject to survey were the constituent elements in most cases. ②Study obtained by “IBASYO ”/ scale as keywords 14 literatures were analyzed. The subjects were mainly from junior high school students to university students, and none used the scale for the elderly's “IBASYO”. Based on these facts, when elderly people use facilities, care workers have a common recognition of support practices that use the“IBASYO”as keywords, and improvement of care is required. It is necessary to clarify the constituent elements of the place of residence for the elderly and the conditions of “IBASYO” and to develop the location scale for elderly people.
