The relationship between student attendance and class evaluation was analyzed in two classes of the same subject in which the instructors, methods and content were unified and the students belonged to the same department and faculty. As a result, it was found that the classes with higher attendance rates had higher class evaluations for specifi c items such as “speed,”“diffi culty,” and “quantity” as well as overall “class-satisfaction”.
