The author constructed a new attachment utilizing the undercut area of the mesial or distal neck of anchor teeth (Fig. 1. 2. 3.) and applied it to the small unilateral dentures attached arteriorly and posteriorly with favorable results.
Advantages of this attachment are as follows:
1. Partial denture with this attachments looks naturally, because of reducing conspicuity of metal.
2. Comfortable, because of no clasp arm and small denture plate.
3. The denture is retained in the mouth with sufficient firmness and without injury to the remaining structures.
