A Prediction Method of the Young's Modulus for Marine Composite under Cyclic Loading

Abstract

On the purpose of predicting the young's modulus of marine composite under cyclic loading. The authors induced a simple mathematical model for the cyclic stress-strain curve. From the comparison of the calculation to some experimental results, a tendency of the prediction was verified. Furthermore the static buckling strength was calculated using the modulus and the result showed a satisfactory tendency.
