In young tea field, mulching ultra violet light reflect film reduced the number of tea green leafhopper, Empoasca onukii Matsuda but did not reduce the injury. In matured tea field, spreading the light reflect tape (silver colored tape) on the canopy surface parallel with hedge reduced the number of tea green leafhopper.
