Abstract
This study is concluded that Ueda pledged in the election for mayor of Oita city as follows:
(1) construction of the Omichi tunnel for the residents of the southern part of Oita city; (2) construction of the harbor rail road for promoting Oita port; and (3) petition the government to sell off the state forest for the housing reconstruction in Oita city.
