Abstract

Two species-groups of Alcis from Southeast Asia are revised. The A. pammicra-complex: A. pammicra (Prout), A. eupithecioides (West), A. polysticta (Hampson), comb. nov., A. aagostigma (Prout) and A. manfredi sp. nov. (Sumatra, Java). The A. maculata-complex: A. maculata (Moore), A. micromaculata sp. nov. (Sumatra), A. herbuloti Orhant, A. bornemaculata sp. nov. (Borneo), A. nigrifasciata (Warren) and A. nigrolineata (Wileman & South). The last species is tentatively placed in Alcis, because the male genitalia are atypical for Alcis.
