Taxonomic study of the adult and immature stages of the clearwing moth, Synanthedon haitangvora Yang (Lepidoptera, Sesiidae), injurious to apple trees in Korea

Abstract

Damage by a clearwing moth, Synanthedon haitangvora Yang, to apple trees, Malus pumila var. dulcissima Koidzumi, is described from Korea. Adult, genitalia, and immature stages are illustrated. The biology is briefly summarized.
