An aspiration catheter is used to unchoke thrombus without blood vessels injured. We developed the catheter using ultrasonic wave for more efficient aspirating. Ultrasonic is generated by the oscillator using piezoelectric elements. It propagate through a wire that runs through blood vessels. Our experiment shows that the vibration could propagate through the wire even when the wire curvature was 8.85/m. Thrombus was disrupted mechanically by this ultrasonic wave. In this report, we made sure that ultrasonic wave applied by propagative wire could break up the simulated thrombus. Therefore, this ultrasonic can break thrombus effectively. And we found that the ultrasound generator and supplier system could be also used with an aspiration catheter. Sonication reduced the energy with which the wire demolish thrombus to approximately 49%.
