Investigations of ultrahigh resolution optical coherence tomography (UHR-OCT) using fiber laser supercontinuum (SC) are reviewed based on author’s works. The ultrahigh axial resolution and high sensitive imaging was demonstrated with SC at 0.8 μm. The deep imaging was achieved with 1.7 μm SC based on carbon nanotube fiber laser. In order to investigate the wavelength dependence of imaging, the SCs were generated at 5 different wavelengths, and the UHR-OCT imaging was demonstrated at each wavelength. Finally, recent progress and future prospect were discussed briefly.
