Abstract

Laser Polymarization of copolymer films containing barium ion by the irradiation of pulse YAG laser is described. The monomer of copolymer is compound acrylic acid, organic carboxylic acid containing bariumion (45 mol%) and chlorostyrene or vinyltoluene. The polymerized thin films formes by irradiation of YAG laser showed a circular transparent films. The diameter of the films are (-3 cm) much larger than that of YAG laser beam, and the thickness varied between 0.3-4.3μm depending on the irradiating conditions.
