Abstract

By using single shot soft X-rays from laser produced plasma, the characteristic response curve of a Q-plate (a soft-X-ray photo-graphic plate) and the transmission spectra of composite materials were measured. The dynamic range of the Q-plate for soft-X-rays was evaluated to be 2×102. The compositions of the composite materials were also determined by comparing observed transmittances with calculated ones.
