Middle and high grade Fiber-Optic Gyroscopes (FOG) have been developed aiming for industrial applications such as Auto-guided-vehicle, Angular rate stabilizer etc. Those FOGs are based on the minimum reciprocal configuration with single mode fiber coil which reduces the production cost. This paper describes the low cost configuration of FOG and its applications.
