A set of computer programs has been developed for the automated evaluation of mass spectra on photoplates in spark source mass spectroscopy. It carries out the three functions of data acquisition, qualitative analysis, and quantitative analysis on a commercially available microdensitometer-minicomputer system. The task of each program and the data flow through these programs are described. The reliability of the programs is evaluated.
