Determination of Dynamic Ranges for Quantitative Analysis Using Electrospray Droplet Impact Ionization and Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption Ionization

Abstract

The dynamic ranges for quantitative analyses of etoposides using a desorption/ionization technique, electrospray droplet impact, and matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization were investigated. Etoposide and ethyl-etoposide were used for analyte and internal standard, respectively. The calibration curves show a proportional relationship in the range of ∼4 orders of magnitude, and the coefficients of determination (R²) well exceed 0.9.
