An Experimental Method of Sensitive Thermal Analysis

Abstract

Sensitive Thermal Analysis (STA) is a new technique designed to attain a high sensitivity by using tungsten for a sample-container and reference materials. By using this technique, it is possible to obtain precise thermal information about the structural changes occurring within a liquid metal or alloy.
The present paper explains the principle and procedure of the STA technique.
