Both Néel temperature (TN) and spin freezing temperature (Tf) of γMn solid solutions in aged Mn–20Cu–8Ni–2Fe (at%) alloys are determined with zero-field-cooling (ZFC) susceptibility measurement. Using the known data for binary Mn–Cu alloys, the equivalent Mn concentrations in Mn-enriched and Cu-enriched regions were estimated as a function of the aging time, and the changes in the concentration with the aging time indicate that the spinodal decomposition mode is still effective in the phase decomposition of Mn–Cu alloys. Meanwhile, the peak susceptibility at Tf temperatures and average unit cell dimensions suggest that the Cu-enriched regions behave to be the matrix fraction during the decomposition reaction.
