Abstract
Nanofiber filters were prepared by electrospray deposition (ESD) method. Applying high voltage between fine capillary and substrate, sample liquid is sprayed by electrostatic force and split into nano–size fibers and particles by coulomb explosion. These filters have high performance such as low pressure loss and high filtration efficiency. The nanofiber coated non–woven fabric was arranged in downstream side of the filter element. The turbulent flow of the air was decreased by nanofiber and filtration efficiency increased considerably.
