Abstract
Filtration and separation technology by separation membranes are one of the key technologies because of its energy- saving. They are indispensable for the processes such as gas purifications and environment protections. The evaluation of pore size and quality judgement of the separation membrane are very important because it has been focusing on the research field in the environment and energy. This paper describes the bubble point method, nano palm porosimetry method, and pore size distribution analysis by GCMC method from N2 (77.4K) adsorption isotherm, which are possibility to be standardized methods in a non-destructive state of separation membranes including nanopores. The membrane structure can be quantitatively investigated by taking advantage of these results.
