Abstract
Zeolite membranes represent one of the most significant developments in the inorganic membranes field. This review of zeolite membranes includes on preparation, permeation properties and industrial application in pervaporation and vapor permeation for water–organics separation. The past two decades have seen considerable progress in these areas. However, commercialization of the membrane in reaction processes such as esterification reaction and methanol synthesis remains a big challenge.
