In addition to generation of second messengers, IP3 and DG, polyphosphoinositide has many roles, such as regulation of actin filament formation, exocytosis, endocytosis, and transcription. Polyphosphoinositide binds to pleckstrin homology domain, which has been reported to be concemed to protein-protein or protein-lipid interaction.
