Abstract
A key is provided to the seventy-seven species of the Nepalese calliphorid flies are reviewed. List of new localities, distributions and other ecological data are also recorded. The following 10 new species are described and illustrated : Calliphora himalayana sp. nov., Nepalonesia pulchokii gen. nov., sp. nov., N. shinonagai sp. nov., Onesia girii sp. nov., Melinda nepalica sp. nov., M. sugiyamai sp. nov., Cosmina nepalica sp. nov., Isomyia shelpa sp. nov., I. singhi sp. nov. and I. hetauda sp. nov. The fourty-two species are recorded for the first time from Nepal. The keys are provided for identifications of all Nepalese species excluding Isomyia nepalana (Townsend).
