Abstract
A new species, Uranotaenia (Pseudoficalbia) tanakai is described from Ôtomi, Iriomote Is., Ryukyu Archipelago, Japan. The adults, pupa and 4th-instar larva are described in detail and illustrations of male genitalia, pupa and 4th-instar larva are provided. Keys to adults and larvae of nine species of the genus Uranotaenia that occur in the Archipelago are also provided.
