Deep learning has achieved great success in the domain of image recognition. This article outlines a simple example of a convolution neural network, the most popular deep learning architecture, for image recognition with MATLAB implementation. It includes how to execute image preparation, construction of network architecture, setting and learning of training parameters, and preprocessing of target images.
