Abstract
The structural investigation of hopeite Zn3(P04)2•4H20 was made by using three dimensional data measured with a single crystal diffractometer. The revised structure of hopeite differs from that reported by previous authors and is considered to be derived from the structure of phosphophyllite by polysynthetic twinning of its unit cells.
