Abstract
Infrared lasers for medical applications especially for removal of hair and some pigmented lesions are investigated. It is preferred that the lasers with the wavelength of about 700nm are used considering the absorption coefficients of water, oxyhemoglobin, deoxyhemoglobin and melanin. We used infrared diode lasers using laser diodes and discussed the laser intensity is enough to examine the laser effect to the mel-anin. The melanin in this research used a hair. The purpose of this paper is to consider a dependence of wavelength on a temperature rise in a melanin.
