Abstract
Various images are taken and utilized in the clinical field. Although multi-modal images are utilized in the clinical filed, the properties of these images differ due to their physical process of imaging. Also, these images have different imaging areas and resolutions. The important problem for using these multi-modal image processing is how to integrate these images. This paper focuses on multi-modal image processing and briefly explains representative methods. Especially, multi-modal image integration having completely different image properties including CT and endoscopic images or CT and ultrasound images is explained here. Image integration of images of real-time sensing and images obtained by reconstruction is focused in this paper.
