Abstract
The necessity and utility on the numerical tables of the percent points in the F-distribution for the detailed significance levels has been elucidated, and a few tables have been prepared by the author (KURASHIGE,1969). To analyse several meteorological phenomena statistically, the preparation of tables is demanded for any paired degrees of freedom in the F(n1,n2).
Using the calculation scheme already published, computation has been carried out for the pair (n1,n2);
( 1,2), ( 2,2),
( 2,3), ( 2,4),
( 1,5), ( 5,5),
( 1,6), ( 2,6), ( 3,6), ( 6,6),
( 1,12), ( 3,12), ( 4,12), (12,12),
( 1,15), ( 3,15), ( 5,15), (15,15).
The results are given up to five significant figures.
To calculate F-values which correspond to a larger domain of (n1,n2) than in (1), adoption of an appropriate approximation shall be designed in the method A, mentioned in the previous paper.
