Abstract

Labor management of US Forces Japan (USFJ) employees was a major source for problems pertaining to agency delegated functions. Following the decentralization reform, the power held by the local authority was revoked and transferred to the central government. The newly founded Labor Management Organization for USFJ employees Incorporated Administrative Agency (IAA) currently performs the function of the previous system. The purpose of this paper is to consider the effectiveness of the new organization in light of reform of the IAA in 2014.
