In this paper, a continuation of five previous papers, 36 taxa belonging to the genera Cavinula, Diadesmis, Geissleria, Hippodonta, Navicula and Placoneis are reported with light and scanning electron microscope photographs. Some comments are made mostly on the taxonomy and morphology of each taxon.
