Abstract
High resolution 13C-NMR spectra of solid state sample can be obtained by Cross-Polarization (CP) /Magic-Angle Spinning (MAS) method. CP/MAS 13C-NMR spectroscopy is available for a structural analysis, a component analysis, monitoring of curing process and an evaluation of the degree of cure of thermosetting cured resins.
The application of CP/MAS 13C-NMR spectroscopy to phenolic novolac and resol resins, epoxy resins, polyimides and furfuryl alcohol resins are reviewed.
