Abstract
UP (unsatulated polyester) resins have the excellent properties in respect of toughness, tolerance and heat resistance.
Therefore UP as the matrix of FRP (fiber reinforced plastics) are used in the many application field with various purposes. In the last ten years, new UP resins which have high flexibility without lowering almost all the other properties have been developed.
In addition, FUP (flexible unsatulated polyester) resins also have been developed. They are widely used in the construction field as waterproofing and flooring materials, because of their properties such as fast-cure, good weather resistance and good physical stability in a wide range of temperature.
