Abstract
Recently UV curable resist inks have been employed extensively in the mPnufacture of printed circuit board (PCB) instead of thermally curable inks. They offer to the PCB manutacturers very substantial cost saving due to the fast curing rate and solventless system. There are many type of UV curable resist inks according to PCB processes. Some of them are used temporary in the process and removed after processing and others remain in the final products.
In this paper the outline of UV curable resist inks used in the manufacture of PCB and their application methods are discribed.
