Abstract
In this article the famous paper on “Phenol Resins and Resinoids” by L. H. Baekeland and H. L. Bender (1925) is introduced. In Chapter 1 after writing a short biography of the authors two fundamental articles of Baekeland (1909) are abstracted. The very great article (1925) is made up of 43 small Subsections. Therefore theoretical 25 Subsections are introduced in Chapter 2 and experimental 18 Subsections in Chapter 3. In Chapter 4 the famous hypothetical theory of Baekeland-Bender is explaned by the present author and some problems on the phenolics-chemistry are discussed.
