Abstract
Many of the patients with pancreatic cancers are diagnosed of advanced disease or surgically irresectable at the time the patients first visit a hospital, and it is hard to detect an early pancreatic cancer. The one-year survival rate of the patients with irresectable pancreatic cancer is approximately 10%. We have experienced a case of advanced pancreatic cancer that had disappeared. The patient is surviving with a disease-free status over two years with intensive combined therapy, which includes the selective thermocoagulation therapy, radiological intervention, chemotherapy and biological response modifier using a functional food, Active Hexose Correlated Compound (AHCC).
