In experimental study, hyperglycemia has been found to decrease both tumor blood flow and pH in trans. planted tumors. Both of these factors may further enhanced the response of tumor cells tc hyperthermiainduced cytotoxicity.
In the present study, the effectiveness of hyperthermia combined with glucose administration has been esti. mated in clinical study.
