A wide range of responses have been reported to second-line hormonal therapies, including corticosteroids and the withdrawal of antiandrogens in patients with hormone-refractory prostate cancer. We report the two cases for corticosteroid therapy and the antiandrogen withdrawal syndrome. The first case was 62 years old patient and had been received orchiectomy. He also received 45 Gy extrabeam radiation for the pelvic bone metastasis. He was administered Flutamide for a year but PSA level increased. Flutamide was withdrawn and dexamethasone(1.0mg/day) was administered. Eight monhts of PSA decline was observed. The second case was 57 years old patient and received MAB (maximum androgen blockade) . PSA level decreased afte the withdrwal of antiandrogen(Chlormadinone).
