I. The development of non-VOC Water-Washable (W2) waterless ink
The petroleum solvent from the ink is eliminated by using plant-derived materials. The dampening water is eliminated by adopting waterless printing. The petroleum solvent from cleaner is eliminated by making the ink water-washable. With these technologies, we have developed the non-VOC emission printing system.
II. The development of LED-UV ink
The LED-UV irradiator has a lot of advantages compared with conventional UV lamps : low electricity consumption, no ozone generation, non-mercury containing, long life, etc. It is important to carefully select the photo initiator and pigment carefully because the current LED-UV has a narrow wavelength range and a small amount of integrated light volume.
