Abstract
This paper provides the reseach of photo-coupling materials for color filters which are used for CCD color TV cameras or liqied-crystal displays. Photo-coupling materials consist of aromatic azido compounds (p-Azido dimethyl-aniline), couplers (1-Naphthol) and transparent polymers. These materials make colored paterns by UV irradiation which causes coupling reactions of aromatic azido compounds and couplers. Adapting these materials to color filters, we respect that color filters would be made without the processes of dying the paterns made by UV irradiation and protecting them.
