Simulation of Colors by the Use of Halftone Dots

Abstract

As CEPS comes into wide use, it is demanded that as few makeovers as possible have to be done by improving simulation accuracy in softproof terminals thereof. This article describes some basic operational expressions known in the simulation of colors by the use of halftone dots, and also elaborations and improvements made on these operational expressions in embodiments into equipments therefor surveying some patent documents and publications.
