Credit cards can be used anytime and anywhere all over the world. This is because of established international standard. This report briefly introduces the trend of standardization for ID card, and especially describes the present topics, for example, Machine Readable ID Cards, National ID Cards and Biometrics for ID Cards, etc after 9.11 disaster by terrorism.
