Abstract

The story of "Boku(I)" in Fatalist is based on the viewpoint of "Jibun" who quotes and describes it. "Jibun", the narrator, symbolizes sentence in modern novels. The story of "Boku" correlates with an unique element of dialogue created by the narrator called "Jibun" Thus, the story of "Boku," given its place in the narration, creates a rare world of " katari". This difers in its nature from "description".
