Abstract
It is considered that "kore" underwent grammatical change from demonstrative to interjection in the early Edo period. At the end of the Muromachi period, if the object in a sentence where the predicate was the imperative of the verb "miru" was the demonstrative "kore", then the particle "wo" was abbreviated (koreφ+miyo). The grammatical change above can be interpreted as a change in grammatical category through the reanalysis of "kore" which was syntactically the object.
